Gepard - City Hoodie PDF

Gepard - City Hoodie PDF

The City Hoodie can be worn as a traditional hoodie or as a hooded cowl. The shorter version is perfect for use as a cowl, especially when it's windy or the weather is blustery. The larger version has a looser fit around the face and offers various ways to wear the hood. Both options are incredibly comfortable and provide plenty of space for big or wavy hair. For a fun touch, you can choose a contrasting colour for the face edging or drawstring.

This uses the super sumptuous Eco Cashmere Vintage yarn from Gepard. We love this yarn and this cozy hoodie!

Yardage:
Eco Cashmere Vintage from Gepard: 3 skeins for a one-coloured hoodie (you will use approx. 2½ hanks).

Drawstring: Contrast colour: 10-15 g Eco Cashmere Vintage or another DK weight yarn.

Yarn alternatives:

1) Pura Lana: 4 balls of 50 g + Cashmere Lace: 1 hank of 25 g for face edging (worked with 2 strands).

Needles & Tools:

4 mm circular needle (40 or 50 cm).

Two 4 mm double pointed needles for the I-cord drawstring.

Minimum 8 ring stitch markers to place on the needle.

Large eye tapestry needle for finishing and pulling drawstring through face edging.

A piece of waste yarn, 60 cm, for placing stitches on hold.

Gauge:

18 sts and 28 rows in stockinette stitch with Eco Cashmere Vintage on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm. Adjust needle size if necessary.
