Knit yourself or a loved one some wonderfully fluffy mittens this year! Our pattern uses the rustic Shetland Spindrift with soft and fluffy mohair/silk and adds a smidge of sparkle with Kremke's Stellaris for a bit of added luxury.
Keep your hands and fingers toasty with added glamour!
Each pair of mittens uses 1 skein or ball each of Jamieson's Shetland Spindrift, Isager Silk MohairĀ and Kremke's sparkly Stellaris.Ā
We'veĀ also created a lovely kit complete with 3 colour choices, the pattern and a lovely bag to keep it all in!Ā Ā
Sizes: 1 (2, 3)
Finished circumference: 17 (19, 21) cm to fit hand circumference 17.5 (19.5, 21.5) cm, measured after thumb. To be worn with 0-1cm / 0-0.5ā of negative ease.
Gauge:
Mitten: 20 st / 26 rnds =10cm / 4ā in St. S.t in the round using 1 strand of Spindrift, 1 strand of Silk Mohair + 1 strand of Stellaris held together on larger needles.
Needles: 3.5 mm / US 4 80 cm cable needles or DPNS for cuff and main mitten, 2.5 mm cable needles or DPNS for thumb. Or needles to obtain gauge.
